Meet Our Leadership

Pastor C.E. Watkins is a product of the Roseland community in the city of Chicago. He grew up educated in a Christian school. He was raised by his mother and father with three brothers and four sisters. C.E. has always had a calling on his life and being raised in a Christian musical family began his career. He sang in the Soul Children of Chicago and a group called Michael Houston and Ministries growing up. His singing led to greater opportunities in writing and producing many artists around the globe. Later in life, C.E. met Lady So Watkins and they have been married for over 30 years with two children, Paiton (daughter) and Dinum (son). C.E. received a college education at  Moody Bible Institute and B.A. from Life University in Texas as well as an honorary doctorate degree from Houston Bible College. C.E. has pastored for over 18 years and is an award-winning philanthropist outreach service participant. God has used his servanthood to push Divine Word Ministries into its next stage by purchasing a 9-acre property in the great city of Country Club Hills where all are welcome to worship and praise with us.
